martin bSunderland,
Just used my last titleist test ball. Very impressed with how soft they felt almost getting back to the old balata feel I love. However after a thin out of a bunker the skin was cut down to the core. Other than that tip top kit.

I've only just signed up to this site after my full club fitting at Titleist so i missed out on the TEST sample balls being sent out. A friend at my club received his samples in the post and was kind enough to give me 1 of the sample balls to try out. The ball felt great of the club face but I found putting a little different to the Prov1 ball so I would need to have a bit more practice with the TEST ball to get a better feel off the face. Once the frost has cleared the TEST ball will be out of the bag again. Looking forward to see if titleist launch this ball but will probably need to be sitting down to read the price tag....

These new test balls seem to preform much better in windy and poor conditions. Difficult to say how good they are on the putting green due to the current weather/season but seem quite soft with good roll. They also seem to give consistent distance even on slightly miss hit shots. Will defiantly be buying more of these !!

Thanks for the test golf balls you sent me last October. As usual with Titleist Pro V's, the feel off the club face is excellent, Great for the short game and I found consistant flight off the driver and irons. I tend to hit quite a high ball flight, so would like to see if a ball with lower trajectory could be developed. I do need to check out my shaft kick points, but just a thought. Thanks again for the great balls, keep up the the good work Titleist.

Scott GEdinburgh,
Tried the 3 balls through late autumn and winter in Scotland.
Felt they were on a par with Pro V1s in terms of distance travelled and control.
They appeared a little whiter to me and the outer was more durable than the Pro Vs I've been using which has been a bit of an issue when compared with other manufacturers e.g. cally. Would happily play the ball on a regular basis!

Thanks for sending the sleeve of balls for me to try.
I have used them in the recent wet conditions and feel that the ball definitely flies further than the pro v 1. Around the green it is very similar with great feel and control.
Overall it is a very good ball which i enjoyed using and I have kept one back to use when the conditions improve.

Please leave your feedback in this discussion post. Thanks for the opportunity in testing the new version pro v golf balls. I have to be honest my game was not at its strongest but could tell the benefits of using this ball. What was very evident was the amount of punishment the cover was able to take. I had moved away from this brand of ball the last season and will definitely be my next purchase for coming season. Many thanks again div>

First of all, thanks for the Test Balls. These balls are top quality, as expected for a Titleist ProV1. Great distance, low spin off the tee, great spin around the greens and a good feel, especially when putting.
Keep up the great work Titleist and don't stop sending DEMOs!

hi after testing the balls i found that the pro v1x certainly had a better overall feel the golf ball has a nice feel of the club, also being very responsive to strike quality however still performing when miss hit. In short am impressed with the new ball thanks Paul.

Thanks for the 3 test balls - they appear to be Pro V1x. Used for approximately 6 rounds, nice feel off the putter face, difficult to ascertain around the greens given soft winter conditions in the UK. As with titleist balls performance and durability is exceptional.
Thanks

dear titleist, thank you for allowing me to test the most recent sleeve to arrive at my door, due to injury and weather conditions i have just managed to get my 1st round with the test balls,i have played continuously with pro v 1 s for maybe the last 10 years but these balls, whatever name they may have, are by far the best yet,off the tee with a driver they were long soft and seemed to cut through a strong cold wind without deviating from straight down the middle, off my irons they felt lovely and soft, short irons had good trajectory and stopped fast, seemed a wee bit longer than my usual distances, and lastly putting felt nice and soft .i apologise for the delay in giving you feedback.thanks again and would you please inform me which ball i was actually using because i need to use them from now on.john higgs.
