  1. The best shot I ever hit with a Pro V1 was June 2019. I was playing in a league. I teed it up on the 2nd hole, which was a 184 yard par 3. Hit a dead straight 7 iron (not a usual occurrence for me). The ball landed 15-20 feet short, tracked straight to the pin and disappeared. I've been playing golf for 50 years and about 2 feet is all the closer I have ever come to a hole in one. I have always used Titleist equipment. Keep up the great work!

I remember one of the first “pure” shots I first hit with the Pro V1. I was at a local course, Druid’s Glen, 3rd hole par 5. 2nd shot with a 4 iron from about 185, over water, back right pin. “Holy smokes, that’s as good as I can hit it Tommy”. My buddy Tom was parallel, in a cart, said it rose up, did a little flip at the top, and came straight down.

Stop and drop, right? Been hooked ever since. Best ball on a putting green, ever!!

  3. Best shot I've ever hit with my ProV1X was in 2008, while I was a PGA Professional at Spokane Country Club, in Spokane, WA. I was invited to play in a money game with several well known members, and part of the game was $2 dots. The first hole at SCC is a short, dogleg right lay up par 4. My tee shot left me a perfect sand wedge to the severely sloped green from back to front. The impact was perfect, straight on a line to the flag. It was one of those shots you pure so well you just have a gut feeling it's going to be REALLY GOOD!

It turned out it was very good, as it flew directly into the hole, with a "chunk" sound when it hit the flag. Most amazing thing was it did not even touch the earth. No mark on the cup, no destroyed lip. One of the other players was already at the green, and watched it go in. He waited a couple seconds, then raised his arms in celebration!

This one shot between all the dots, junk etc, got me $20 up after 2 swings. The round turned out to be even par at the end of the day, but the memory of this shot has stayed with me all these years since.

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

Holed out from 145 yards for an eagle on the #1 handicap hole at my local course. Followed by a birdie on the next hole (par 5), so I was 3 under after 3 holes.. best start ever....
  5. 4 years ago. Interlochen Golf Course, Traverse City, MI. 220 yards, in the rough, to an uphill green, severely sloping back to front - toughest green on the course - CAN'T BE ABOVE THE HOLE. 3 hybrid to 3 feet above the pin and I was mad that I was above the hole. My playing partners still give me a hard time for being upset about hitting it past the hole.

Number 9 502 yds. at The Ranch Golf Club Soutwick, Ma. downhill par 5.....Driver and then seven iron into hole! Double Eagle!
  7. Best shot I've hit was with a Titleist ProV1x at Glenmoor golf course, UT. Par 5 hole 5 made my first double eagle from 227 out while playing Men's League with the head pro and his son who plays College Golf at SUU!!

A few weeks ago on the 18th hole at Pawtucket CC, I duck hooked my tee shot leaving a 200 yard shot to the green with a 50 foot tree in my way. I pulled out my 3 hybrid and hit a high fade about 45 degree angle to 10 feet from the flag. A flash from the past!
  9. I was playing in a BB tournament several years ago and it was my turn to play. I hit a ProV1 from 128 yards to the green saw the ball hit, roll then disappear in the afternoon shadows. I dropped a second ball not knowing the result of the first shot and hit the same shot, with a different PV1. When I got up to the hole both balls were in the cup. I thought that was pretty cool- thanks
  10. 6 Iron from about 170 out in the pouring rain to about two feet. Playing in New Orleans in a hotel tournament shot clinched the title. Still curious how much our GM took home on his wagers that day.
  11. The best shot was in shots, a great drive to a short par 4 the approach shot about 60 yards, took my 56 degree wedge out, took a great swing, lifted my head up and the ball sailed over the pin and 30 yards in the woods. Either I misjudged the distance or hit it square. It was just a great trajectory right over the green.

In a scramble, about 240 out on a par 5 hit a 4 hybrid. Struck it really well right at the flag but never saw it land. We got up to the hole and couldn't find the ball so partner said I should check the hole. I told him no way it went in but I checked and there it was. Funny thing is we were only 5 under in the tourney with 3 under in one hole.

I had two shots that I feel very proud of; 1st a hole in one on a 157 yd par three and the 2cd was a Double eagle on a 523 yd par five. Both shots may have been extremely lucky but they were no less very memorable!!

At the end of last season i bought a new set of AP1 irons, regular steel shafts. Last game of our Wednesday night league my Prov1X went into the creek on a long par 5. So i dropped a new one and flushed a 5-iron 180 yards back over the trees to 5 yards in front of the green. Ball and clubs are the best yet!
  15. 2nd hole this afternoon. Ive gotten back into golf and taking it seriously for the first time the last two months since courses in Arkansas haven't closed. Using an old Top Flite XL driver and stuck the ball 3 yards next to the green from 245 yds out. Not to much distance on my drives right now as I'm focusing on accuracy so it felt amazing to hit a properly thought out shot like that. For a bonus I ended up chipping for an Eagle, also a first!

195 yard 4 iron on the 10th at Pebble beach for an eagle 2. Hit it so flush and it bounced once and curved towards the ocean as it rolled in! Sweet!!!
  17. A 160 yd hole out on a par 4 for an eagle. Unfortunately, I didn’t see it go in. It was a blind shot over a mounded bunker.
  18. March 30, 2020 It was a short 98 yard par 3 at Onion Creek Club, Austin Texas. The shot was high and landed about 10 inches from the cup and rolled straight in for my second hole-in-one. The cool temperature warmed right up after that shot. Titleist ProV1x is the only ball I play.

  19. July 2019 tournament at Colorado Springs Broadmoor East #7 482yd par 5 dogleg left. Good tee ball 272 yds over & around tree line to middle of fairway. Had 210 remaining with an uphill shot to a two-tiered green, front left pin with horribly deep bunkers in front - can't be short. Hit a 3 hybrid about 235 to the back tier, rolled back to within 3 ft for an eagle tap-in. I really like the newer ProV1 ball - previously used the ProV1x, but changed last year. That eagle shot showed me why.

The shot that stands out to me was in the final round of our sectional 4 ball senior tournament. My partner and I were down 1 stroke beginning the day. On #4 , 175 yd par 3, I hit 6 iron that found the cup. We went on to win the tournament by 1. That shot not only was a thrilling ace but enabled us to win a huge state sectional.
