Unfortunately not playing too much due to health issues. I’m seeing more of Hospital waiting rooms than I am golf courses!

Thanks. I’m hoping things get sorted and in doing what I can, just adjusting my expectations.
Had an enjoyable day out at Blackmoor last week, despite not being able to play all 18. I walked the last 6 watching in awe as my son played some awesome golf. He’s PGA but had struggled with driver for a while, until a fitting for TS3 at St Ives - wow! He’s hitting some proper bombs!!

I'm looking forward to playing Blackmoor myself later in the year...Love those H.Colt courses.

After a lot of setbacks I am hoping to get clubs out this weekend and play a bit more than the 54 holes I played last year have set myself a target with lots of practice and coaching to get from dormant 15?hcp to as close to single figures as I can

Update... Knockouts this season I'm 1 from 4...it started so well with a 7&6 win in the society singles...

Summer Singles on Friday evening started well...1st won with a par and again at the 4th to go back to 1 up. Playing against the club captain who took advantage of my poor approach to the 6th the second of my shot holes to go 1 up and a run of 4 straight holes wins...he was just 5 over par after 13 holes (off 14 hcp) and he was 3 off the tee on the first, and despite coming close to holing out some chips and longish putts we enjoyed an early pint.

Second round of my society knockout next week....

Currently at +6 and game is improving although felt I went backwards last week. But I guess in golf you have to go back to move forward.

Still playing the ap2’s 716 and love the feel.

Not planning on changing anytime soon but the black version of the ap2 caught my eye.

Good news
Went to range and hit balls Friday no repercussions from knee so had lesson today working on shallowing impact for more consistent strike as first part of lowering handicap
Just need to join club again now and get some cards in!!
Feeling much more optimistic
