Played a round yesterday at (not naming the course) and went inside to grab some drinks after the round and someone had stolen my TS driver and fairway wood head covers! Really sucks when you paid so much money for these new clubs and someone just steals them from you. Felt so violated.....told the pro shop to check out surveillance camera, no help. Sad day...sad day....

Have played at a local muni for over 25 years and have never had something like that happen. Of course I always put my clubs in the car after my round and then go in the club house. Sorry to hear about your loss. Some people. =(

I’m sure you will be able to buy them back on eBay in a few days. Sad but true.

There's no bottom to how low some people are, even those that play this game. You can't leave your clubs unattended for any length of time.

Sorry to hear about your stolen covers and it's sad that you can't leave your clubs unattended for any length of time.
If I'm using my Scotty Cameron bag with by Cameron Tiffany wood covers and putter covers, I won't leave them out of my sight.

I feel your pain. I recently had my Titleist alignment stick cover stolen. I was able to enjoy that for one single round.
    Very frustrating!

That is unreal. Never had anything stolen, but did leave a 710 9 iron on a tee box and no one turned it in. Also had a pair of Oakley sunglasses fall off my hat and no one turned them in either. Frustrating, but I always turn in anything found on the course.

Sorry this happened to you Stephen. I would feel very sad if someone did this to me. That really sucks! A real low life.
  12. Saw a similar post a few months back. The golf course was once a place where low life people did not visit. Never had to lock up your stuff like at the ski area or never take your eye off your clubs. Sad times!

TT I know that feeling, ugh! Perhaps the new Lucky St. Patty's Day gear could be of use going forward. I'll pitch in to send you a hat or ball marker...anyone else?

So many threads on stolen items.. Its to the point you'd better not ever leave your gear unattended.

    Been there.
I’m told by cops that there has been a spike in equipment thefts in recent years. High value, easy pickings.
Watch your gear, and know your seller on resale markets.

Totally brutal - sorry to hear your loss. I have become really hesitant to leave my bag anywhere out of my sight these days - so many things going missing all over..... sad.

Sorry to hear about this. I do the same thing. My clubs are at the putting green about 50 yards from the pro shop.
I need to remind myself to keep my golf clubs close at hand.

    Hi Steve,

I have a new TS driver cover that I have not even opened. I have some other covers, the Green Out Collection, in this case that I will be using this year.

If you want to DM me, I might be able to arrange to ship you my cover. I rather have it proudly displayed by another TT member than collect some dust with my other covers.

Sorry to hear that someone would actually steal these.....Just flat out rude people who don't embrace what the game of golf is all about and how we can expand our circle of true friends across the globe.

    All the best,
    -Brian

  19. Its annoying how many people will steal things just like last year I had a nice bluetooth speaker attached to my bag went in to get a drink at the turn maybe in the clubhouse for a minute I comeback and it was gone some people just have no respect for people who work hard for the things they have.

I usually put my club cover on my bag when I'm walking away. Good habit to get into.

I am sorry to hear that they were stolen.
I good habit I picked up from a friend is I use old non-descriptive covers, unfortunately, some people wouldn't just have taken the headcover, but the whole club old fluffy tiger and old fluffy 3 and five are my current headcovers in use.

I do the same thing. Non-descriptive is the way to go these days unfortunately. Especially when my entire bag consists of Titleist clubs. Someone could walk by and think ... Cha-Ching! Ebay here I come. Luckily it hasn't happened to me in quite some time.
I feel your pain though. I would be irate to say the least.
