I have a stand band with six cuff configuration that weighs under ten pounds.. It enables me to keep the wedges and putter separated as well as the driver and fairway woods or hybrids. With a 4 way cuff design I would keep the head cover on my putter anytime it is in my bag. There are already covers on my woods at all times.

    More dividers the better

I think the 4-way will give enough separation for ease of club withdrawal. The 3-way would tend to "stack" the clubs together. Anything is better that the 14 hole bags though.

I have a bag with the three-way configuration. Not nearly as good as four-way.

Four way is great. Easy to use.

My pet peeve about golf bags is this: Some design engineer spent a lot of time thinking about how each of the pockets and sleeves would be used on a golf bag; e.g: for golf balls, tees, driver, putter etc. yet every bag I have ever purchased does NOT show suggested uses.
  7. 4way, easier club management
  8. Irons , putter , woods and wedges , that why I prefer 4

Even a five way would be good

The 4 way would have better separation of clubs and be easier to retrieve your chosen club. 3 way would be almost like having none.
  14. Much easier to pick up the right club and keep them in my preferred position in the bag
  15. I actually prefer just the two horizontal dividers. I am an old caddie and still carry my bag at 64. The 2 divider setup is better for golfers that carry so that the clubs will fit properly and rest next to each other. I also only carry the driver and 3 wood and still hit 1-W and am a single digit golfer.

I prefer the 4 way. Also, MUST have full length dividers. Newly re-gripped clubs like to stick together

I currently have the bag with 4 pockets and love it.
  18. 4 way is the way to go as long as the pockets/tubes go all the way to the bottom of the bag. That is best to keep your clubs as separated as possible so they go in and out easily.

A 5-way with 2 at top and middle and one at the bottom would be my top choice.

I actually prefer the older six slot versions.
    Please go back. thanks.
