  1. My best Pro v1 shot was on Friday 6-25-18. I was playing with a group of friends in a local scramble golf outing. It came on a 135 yd par 3. Two holes prior I was struck on my right hand by an errant tee shot. Little did I know that my pinky finger was as fractured in 4 places. When we got to the hole which was our final hole my teammates all managed to miss the green horribly. I was in a lot of pain, but decided to take my turn. I hit a beautiful pitching wedge at the pin that landed about 10 feet from the pin and rolled into the cup. We won the tournament and of course I won the closest to the pin which was $50. $35 of it paid for my deductible at the hospital that night. That was both my worst day and my best day on the golf course all rolled up in one!! I get a lot of laughs when I tell the story.

  2. Last fall I arrived at my club on a raw, rainy morning. After warming up I decided not to play and was going to head home to stay warm. One of my buddies convinced me to change my mind and play at least nine holes. Good thing he did - I made my first hole in one ever on the 6th hole. To top it off, we were the only foursome on the course so I only had to buy three drinks to celebrate.

Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

Mine was a 7-iron on 180 yard par three which was the fifth playoff hole of the Southern Illinois golf Association championship in 2017. I was playing a young college student and we were tied at the end of the two day event… We were both two under in the first four holes of the playoff when I stuck it on the fifth and made birdie to win the oldest amateur golf tournament in the state of Illinois.
    Best to you all!

A short cut bunker shot that holed out so I could stay alive in a tough match. I ultimately lost, but that shot made my opponents head explode. He thought he had me .. but Nooooo!

145 yard par 3. Ball landed pin high, bounced forward, and spun back into the hole. Would not have been a hole-in-one without the Prov1 to spin the ball back.

  7. My best shot -- 179 yd par 3, over water. Missed an ace by 3":-)
  8. I was on vacation in maui and playing a round with my mother. The sun was setting and it was a par three which was into the sun. We both teed off from our respective tees, and both of us heard the thuds signifying we we on the green. Little did we know we were both three feet away.

  9. The Titleist C.B.-690 eight iron I used to hit a Pro-V1 into the hole in misty rain on the 6th Hole at the Knoll Country Club in Parsippany NJ. Slight draw bounced twice and rolled dead center into the hole
  10. Hit my 2nd shot on a par 5 with a 7 iron 205yards with a 30mph helping wind. I was just trying to lay up short of the green but it toad the wind and and hit front of the green and lost it. When got to the green didn’t see the ball I thought it roll of but went to the flag and there it was. A 2 on. Par 5

Volley gap wedge from 104 yards out on the 4th hole of sudden death of Gaston Country Club’s Member Guest shootout. Shot hit 4 Feet behind hole then sucked back into the hole for walk off eagle to win the tournament with large group of competitors watching and cheering as sun was setting. EPIC!
  12. Best shots were with Prov1x’s. Met Arnold Palmer and he told me a story of the gold cup on his wall given to him for making a hole-in-one on the same hole two days in a row. I made my first hole in one two weeks later with a 9 iron uphill into the wind to 123 yards. Twenty three days later came a hole-in-one with an 8 iron to 165 yards. #awesomeinspiration #greatgolfballs

  13. Mine was at the 2nd Annual Twin Peaks Tournament at Troon North Pinnacle Course. It was a "Hole-in-One" on a 175 yard par three. I actually won a new car. It was my only hole-in-one with a Titleist Pro V1. The other was not. But I will remember this one forever. Thank you Titleist!

  14. June 28, 2012 at Yocha Dehe in Northern California. The 16th hole a 161 yard par three, hit my eight iron it bounced once and into the cup. This was my first hole in one. Have one other since then, but this was my best shot over water.
  15. Annual Irish American St. Patrick's Day tournament about 10 years ago. My team's A player a 10 handicap. Myself a strong 13. Started on 3 in a shotgun. We were 2 shots back at 13 under after 18. Teed off with a nice long draw which would be the second best shot I could imagine, proceeded to knock a 6 iron draw to 14 inches on a par five for a scramble gimme to tie the lead. Lost with a bogie on two sadly but the adrenaline was real.

That's easy... 18th hole, 480 yard par 5 - perfect drive (Titleist Driver) and then a 5 iron (Titleist) into front hole location with a couple of hops for a double eagle and even par round 72! July 24, 2012

The best 2 shots I have ever made were at the Arnold Palmer Signature Course, White Eagle Golf Course, 12 years ago with a Pro-V1 on the same 16th hole one week apart, on back to back Saturdays with two different foursomes but both at 1:30PM, 204 yard par 3:

Week 1: Titleist designed King Cobra II, stiff shaft, 4 iron inside the cup on the fly - bounced out 2'-3' but made birdie.

Week 2: Same flag position, same 4 iron, in the air, inside the cup on the fly but again it bounced out this time 12' - 13' away and unfortunately missed the birdie.
  18. The best shot I ever hit with my Titlist ProV1, was actually yesterday, April 29th, 2020! I was playing with my husband on the Dye Course at the PGA Village in Port St Lucie, Florida. We were playing a fun team game with 15 other fellow PGA Professionals, when my husband, PGA Professional Steve Howe, Freddie Gipp and I came up to the par 3, 6th hole. It was playing 158 yards, slightly down-wind. Steve hit the most beautiful 7 iron, right at the pin! Sure enough, an ace! We had our celebration, then it was my turn. Playing the same tee box, I also chose a 7-iron and hit the nicest small draw that also trickled into the hole! Unbelievable, but true!

Freddie hit it to 8 feet and made birdie! Our group score was 4 for three players!

Someone said back to back was certainly unique, but I know it has been done before. We might, however, get the nod for first husband and wife from the same tees with the same club choice to make back to back aces!
  19. It was a cold rainy Saturday morning in July 2016 and I was not having a good day. I was playing with my friend and golf mentor of 40+ years. We got to the tee on the 8th hole at our club, West Hills CC in Middletown, NY and he shot the distance with his range finder, 136 yards to the pin. I hit a sweet 9 iron at the pin and Mark said to me it will be close but our opponents will make me put it. We got to the green and the ball was 3/4 of the way down in the cup. Mark said to me "just tap the pin so the ball drops and the hole in one counts". I looked at him as was about to give him a hard time about his comment and then I remembered that he has 6 holes in one at the time. we moved quickly through the remainder of the round so we could get to the bar to celebrate.
