  1. Third shot on a Par 5 playing in a Member-Guest at Cavalry Club. All four players in our group hit wedges right at the flag. When we arrived at the green there were 3 balls inside 3 feet and mine was in the hole for eagle. The foursome in front of us couldn't believe how quickly we arrived at the next tee box.

161 yd par 3 ace. Hit a nine iron that never left the stick and the Pro V1 performed as advertised...landed softly...and spun gently 6 inches back into the cup! My first and , so far, only hole-in-one.
  3. Hole in one from 223 yards on 16th at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, WV with an older Titleist hybrid. First and only ace!

Back in my prime I struck a solid 5 iron that found the bottom of the cup on the #10 par 3 at Wingfoot in New York, but I teed it up in Flower Mound, Texas at the # 8 on the Tour 18. That’s gotta be one of the longest hole in ones ever!

I holed out for double eagle on 17 Pelican Hill Ocean North Course. Played the par 5’s in -6 that day.
  7. After a terribly short drive on a long Par 4, I had about 220 to the hole and I hit my hybrid. It took 1 hop and into the hole for an eagle.
  8. In 1993 at Pine Valley Golf Club, the greatest course in the world according to most polls, I had just made an quadruple bogey eight on the par four first hole. Still using my Titleist Pro V1, I hit my second shot on #2 to four feet and made birdie, the first of six for the round (#2, #5, #7, #12, #14, #17). I used the same Titleist Pro V1 the entire round, obviously a great ball whose durabilty was as impressive as its quality and playability.

    316. My final score was 70, even par. I used the same Titleist Pro V 1 the whole way.
  9. last week at stony Ford GC here in orange county NY I was on the 16th about 65 yards out i took my Sm7 52 and hit a shot over the bunker and behind the flag spinning it back with in 4 inches and then holed the birdie putt
  10. My first ever ace with a yellow pro V1 on a 185 par 3. It was sept 1st 2019 and happened to be on my late grandfathers birthday so I like to think that he maybe he helped guide that one in from up above.... also to sweeten the deal that was the first time I’ve ever broke 80.

It's tough to beat the hole in one that I got last year, but #17 the Road Hole at the Old Course at St. Andrews. There is nothing as intimidating as knowing if you don't hit that drive on the nose you might hit a hotel. Not a shot you come across everyday. But, after an extra long pre shot routine and several encouraging words from my caddie Neal, I launched a perfect drive right over the o in the Old Course Hotel on the wall you must also navigate your shot over. After some nice applause from my playng partners and caddie I made the nerve wracking walk around the corner to find out where the shot ended up. Lo and behold right in the middle of the fairway. A scary long iron to the green. 2 putt par. Nothing to it. LOL. Finished up with another par on 18 after pictures on the Swilican Bridge. A magical day with a final score of 75. The perfect place to have my best shot and best round of the year.

PS. Got to play another round on the Old Course two days later by waiting on line at 3:30am. Hit a snap hook on 17 tee. Lost a ball. Hit it in the Road Hole Bunker. Made an insane sand shot with my back touching the bunker wall to 3 feet(my buddy shot an amazing video of it so I can remember it forever) and made the putt for a 6. Finished up that day with a cool 85. That's golf! I would not want it any other way.
  12. Several years ago I was playing a par four that was a little over 310 yards. It was a little dog leg to the right but after about 250 yards it was pretty much downhill and contoured to the right. I hit a perfect drive that started out to the left, landed and jumped to the right. I couldn't see from the tee where it ended up but when I got to the green, to my utter surprise; it was in the hole. A double eagle!
  13. 4 iron from 210, in the hole for an eagle.
  14. I was playing in the club championship and hit my pro v1x at a par 3 155 yards into the wind and I got a hole-in-one.

The best shot I ever hit would have to be my one and only hole in one in 2012. I hit my ProV1 with a 1980 Titleist Tour Model 8 iron on a 154 yard par 3. The hot was a nice high draw that curved about 10 yards, bounced twice, and disappeared into the hole. When I drove up to the green, I did'nt see a ball on the green. Thinking that maybe I hit it long , I began to look around for my ball. My playing partner said, " I think it's in the hole" and proceeded to check the cup. I was like, "yeah, whatever". Before I knew it, my friend was yelling, " IT'S RIGHT HERE IN THE HOLE! One of the best feelings ever!! Thanks Team Titleist!! I couldn't have done it without you guys. I still have Titleist in my bag all the through except putter. 714 AP2 irons, Vokey wedges, 915 Driver, Fairway woods, and hybrids.. Titleist is simply the best!!

Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

I’ve had several shots with the ProV. One I hit a tee shot and bounced it into a hazard, took a drop and then holed out from 185 yards for a birdie. A second shot was in a best ball match with my golf partner. Hit a tee shot 290 yards and had 94 left. I ended up leaning into a wedge into a slight breeze and holed out for a nice 2. But I have to say these golf balls have helped tremendously. I did a golf ball fitting and found the ProV gives the best spin control and distance. Thanks Titleist for an awesome product!
  17. Last week, 4/26/20. After more than 30 years and many, many rounds of golf, I had the pleasure to finally achieved my first hole in one. It was 138 yard shot, two small bounces, and it went in.

My best shot ever with ProV1 is 235 yard 3 wood second shot on par 5 for an Albatross!

I'm 55 years old now, when turned 50 years old I wanted to start playing golf for exercise I went to the local public golf course (Point Mallard golf) Decatur Al, talked the golf pro about some clubs after asking me a few questions I ended up with a brand new set Titleist irons ap2 710 that was ordered by mistake for $300. When Titleist ran buy 3 get 1 sale custom print he suggested Pro V1 x
Well anyway after playing a couple weeks on I drove one into wooded area on 2nd tee.

When I found it about 20 feet inside the tree line about 175 yards from the hole I wanted to try to hit it out instead of taking a drop.

So I picked 6 iron hit it between the trees ended up being 3 feet from the hole
  20. Many years ago in 2007, several Pro V1 generations back, on the 515 yard par 5 ninth hole at a nearby muni course, I hit a nice long drive leaving around 200 into the green. The second shot played blind uphill and I hit a pure 4 iron that looked great and I knew it would be on in two. I approached the green but saw no ball. Frustrated, I assumed it carried deep when my dad said check the hole. Sure enough, there it was! Albatross! I’ll never forget that!
