I always start the round with a fresh brand new ball. I usually keep it in play for 6-9 holes, then swap out for another fresh new shinny ProV1. Always a #1.

As a result of this practice, I have to say that I have several shag bags, pretty much chalk full.

Usually around 36 holes or so. Also depends if the ball gets scuffed up during a round and how bad...
  3. I will replace my ball after 36 holes, unless damaged scuffs ect, or I lose it not ideal. The balls that manage 36 hole become my practice balls. I find 36 holes is a good number for me.
  4. Usually 45-54 holes for me - the yellow x seems to hold up better than the white ones. Anyone else seeing this ?
  5. Until I miss a 5 foot birdie and throw it in the water lol
  6. I will switch after 9 holes unless I am hitting really good then I will keep it going. If my game is not so great I will switch it out to get the bad luck out of my game.

Until the water or woods take it away from me.
