What is this? The logo is X’ed out and what is “*384 DT 100*“?

They made a DT 2 piece and a DT Wound in the 1980s. I always thought the DT 2 piece was lower spinning ( and straighter) especially on driver shots.

I am having a hard time finding information on a 384 LT 100 ?

Titleist 384 LT 100 was a Lower Trajectory ball, with 100 compression.

Different dimple shape/design than the DT model.

I took my Dads clubs after he passed, had these in there. Probably from around 92 or thereabouts

Before I knew what golf was (must have been late 60's to early 70's), I remember finding an old, dimpled, small dingy white ball with a large cut, exposing what looked like rubber bands. I peeled off the outer cover with a knife and needle-nose pliers and sure enough, inside I found tightly wound rubber bands. After unwrapping the rubber bands (or cutting through them) there was a smaller black rubber ball at the core. Was this a Titleist design?

All balata balls had that same construction.

You might remember that some had liquid filled cores and some were solid cores but basically the same general construction. All tour level balls were balata covered but in the later years, many companies offered surlyn covered balls that were popular with high handicap amateurs.

When I played for my Junior College golf team our coach would hand out 1 Titleist 90 DT golf ball to every player for a match against another JC team. Some players wouldn’t play them because they played Titleist Balata’s, but I was poor and couldn’t afford the Balatas because you couldn’t play a round with just one ball, they would get scuffed badly hitting a full sand wedge or if you hit an iron a little thin you would put a crease in the ball. This was in the early 80’s.

I found a Titleist High Traj 90 in the woods today. Any idea how old it is? What is its construction?
