Schenk Comes Out On Top in 4-Way All-Titleist Playoff

It was a four-way all-Titleist playoff at the Lincoln Land Charity Championship where Titleist golf ball loyalist Adam Schenk (New Pro V1) converted a 25-foot putt for birdie on the second extra hole for his first career Web.com Tour win.

“What an unbelievable experience,” said Schenk. “I can’t believe I’m holding it (the trophy). I was just lucky to make that last putt. I just aimed 6 inches left of it because I knew the exact break of the putt, more or less. It rolled straight and went right in the hole.”

Schenk was joined in the sudden death playoff by Titleist Brand Ambassador Eric Axley (New Pro V1x), as well as Titleist golf ball loyalists Kyle Thompson (New Pro V1x) and William Kropp (New Pro V1).

All four players tied at 14-under-par 270 in regulation play at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois.

Schenk is coming off a tie for fourth at the Air Capital Classic Supporting Wichita’s Youth.

“To play well last week and win this week,” said Schenk, who moves to No. 11 on the Web.com Money list, “it’s funny how this game can change in two weeks and your mindset can go from just trying to keep your card to chasing Stephan Jaeger.”

Titleist golf ball loyalist Stephan Jaeger (Pro V1) holds the No. 1 spot after wins at the Rust-Oleum Championship and BMW Charity Pro-Am earlier this season.

Congratulations, Adam!

TITLEIST BY THE NUMBERS
