T200 irons - due mid December for me

    I had a fitting on the 9th of October (T200 irons and 2 Vokeys) and placed the order on the 11th through my club.

    The Titleist fitter said 5-6 weeks for delivery - i.e 16th-23rd of October, and that Titleist were picking up a lot orders due to other manufacturers having long lead times.

    I have just chased and been told that the iron heads are due into Titleist on the 25th of October and with the backlog there is an estimated 27 working days build time (which is Nov 30th).

    Expect mid-December as the build time may get longer. That will be 14 weeks if they come in mid-December. TBF I was told that the build time may be shorter but I can't see that happening to be honest.

    For me the Titleist fitters should have more up to date information on delivery times, so as to be honest with managing expectations. 5-6 weeks with a 27 days build time means Titleist would have had to have had the heads in stock, which they polainly didn't.

    Anyway, 68 hours until my tee-off time on Friday.

    Join the Club! i agree anyone taking iron orders should be telling the customer at order stage that they are looking at a minimum of 3 months. I ordered on August 18th - got told yesterday that i should have them by the end of this month. however if Titleist are only getting the heads in by 25th October then i cant see that happening! Especially if the shipment getsdiverted to a port in Europe and not UK! Out of interest do the clubs we get in the UK get built in USA and then shipped here? or do Titleist have a factory building them in Europe?

    The heads and shafts all get sent to Titleist's HQ in St. Ives in Cambridgeshire and they are then bent, shaft fitted etc. there.

    You could have yours at the end of this month, if and only if, there was a batch of heads that were here before the batch due in on the 25th.

    Standard sets are showing on American Golf to be shipping from 29th Oct so hopefully that means the stuff is really coming in to Titleist on the 25th.

    Please keep this thread going when you get yours or hear more.

    I replied to this on my phone the other day and it hasn't appreared.

    The clubs are assempled at the Titleist centre in St Ives, Cambridgeshire & then sent out to whoever you ordered them from.

    Let us know if you do get your clubs at the end of the month or hear more.

    Replies to followed threads do not work unfortunately so I need to pop back in here every now and again.

    For you to get your clubs at the end Oct Titleist would have had to have the heads/shafts in stock at mid-August. So I guess it is possible that they did have some and you are in that batch of orders so to speak. It may also be that they were expecting heads/shafts then and they got delayed.

    The answer to that question will be when you actually receive them but my guess is that is what happened.

    American Golf's website is saying shipping from 29th Oct - which would tie in delivery coming in to Titleist on the 25th. That is for stock options and no custom build.

    Thanks for that, fingers crossed! cannot wait to get them, just purchased the Premium Stadry Jet Black cart bag and Matching Umbrella, so all ready for them to slot in!

    Will update this thread when they are delivered.

    Following - just ordered the T200. Mostly standard with +1 Layer of tape. AG told me expect them in January!

    John - that sounds about right to me.

    If the heads do arrive at Titleist next Monday (25th) , then they have all of the orders placed in Aug/Sept & so far in Oct to build and they quote a 27 working day build time to give themselves leeway.

    I am guessing but I think that the stock due on the 25th is the first stock they will have to supply orders. Everything else so far has been for the fitters and YouTubers.

    That bag looks very nice indeed.

    In theory 5 days until my T200 iron heads arrive in St. Ives.

    Once I get back from Lanzarote next Sunday I will do a chase up to confirm that the heads did arrive as stated.

    If not I will not be best pleased.

    Wow!!!!! Just had notification from the golf store that my custom T200s, tsi2 Driver, 3 wood and Hybrid has been dispatched and will be delivered to me tomorrow!!!!!!! Absolutely pumped!!!!!

    I tried to reply earlier and not sure it went through.

    So glad you will have them soon. I sent a message yesterday to Titleist via the website about my order but haven't heard back as yet.

    Let us know how you get on with them.

    And they have arrived!!!!!!!!!! Wow a day i will never forget!!!!! My first ever absolutely brand new custom clubs! Titleist you have made my day! Worth every pain staking day of delay! Will add pics soon!

    Titleist via email me we a B2B business and due to GDPR we can't tell you anything.

    The B2B is fair but the GDPR stuff is rubbish I already gave them all the info and said you can contact the club and they will tell you it is okay to speak to me.

    The club owner is away til next week so I will need to email then ask him to ask for an update.

    I am not getting a good feeling that I will have the club's this year...

    Its a Patience game unfortunatly. I ordered 18th August and recieved on 25th October. Fully custom T200s , Driver , fairway and hybrid. That should give some guage? It will be a minimum of 2 months.
