Unfortunately I don't have any solutions to this but I'm also experiencing the same problem. Not as frequent as you but usually once a round or something.
As much as I love the stadry fabric and look of these bags, mine has been nothing but trouble. I've had the strap problem as outlined above. The hip pad looks incredibly tatty and frayed. The ball zipper has now completely broken. I purchased the bag in December 2019 so I'm out of warranty and unable to do anything. I appreciate that's 18 months and some will say "just buy a new bag", but it's not really the point. It's a £200 bag and all the issues I've had have been due to small components. Also worth baring in mind that due to a combination of Covid and having a young family, I've played less golf in the last 18 months than any other spell in my 18 or so years playing. I also occasionally use a different trolley bag.
Apologies for the thread jack and rant but I do feel somewhat begrudged to have a premium product "fail" due to cheap / low quality components that aren't easily replaced. A fellow member has also had similar issues.

Yes, I have several posts on this subject under "Gear". Reverse the overlap so that the strap that is not in the removable slots lays over the one that is. That will allow it to hold in place. If you still have problems and do not use the quick release feature, take it off and add some black electrical tape around the two split pieces and then reinstall. Cheers.

100% listen to Dale that works! I have a stadry and premium carry bag done it with both.
