You're only right...
Some strange things have happened, which probably wouldn't have happened in the normal course of events. Golf membership has had a surge. Our club membership is now full and we have a Waiting List!! It remains to be seen if they all renew membership in January. The club has firmly stopped the old block-booking groups (only Ladies and Vets, who have Affiliate status, have slots) and the course is booked out all the time. Folk who want to play together can do so, but everyone has an equal chance of tee times. This is quite refreshing... and rounds are definitely quicker than pre-lockdown.
I appreciate that it will be different for everyone but a couple of unexpected bonus points to be grateful for in all this chaos.

Yeah, deffo missing the weekend comps at the club, the only golf I'm playing at the minute is on the playstaion 4
