TS3 Driver Weight length issue

  1. This week I began to notice a rattle in my TS3 Driver, so for the first time I unlocked the weight in the base. I took the weight out, found the rattling stopped and then replaced the weight. After I replaced the weight and relocked the nut I could feel the weight shaking side to side. I have now taken it out and it is too short.

Has anyone else had this issue and you can clearly see that compared to a 917 weight which fits perfectly it is too short. Any help or suggestions greatly received?

Seeing how expensive the weight kit is I don’t want to but that and have the same problem. Are there any bungs that should be on each end?

What makes it worse is that I am currently on holiday in Scotland and playing Carnoustie on Monday so need it sorted ASAP.

You are missing the magnetic cap off the weight. Put the magnet on the DR end, the weight is neutral. Put it on the TS end and you have the option of fade/draw bias. Magnet end towards toe for fade, magnet end towards the heel.

    * magnet end towards the heel for draw bias.
  4. Thanks for the advice but I don’t have the magnets at the end. I don’t think I have seen them advertised anywhere?

Any suggestions where I could get them or a substitute?

I think you will have to buy a whole new weight. No idea what the price of an individual weight would be from a Titleist stockist. Most probably fakes, but on eBay they go for circa £20 each. I’m not one for aftermarket stuff as a rule, but when I had my 915 driver, I put a heavier flat weight on it from eBay as an experiment, when it arrived I weighed it, and it was spot on. I guess that’s all it needs to be, the right weight. Particularly on the TS3 when you can’t even see the weight barrel.
