I do miss the chat with the folk I usually play with. But I also would be playing a fair bit in the evening now with the lighter nights. Just going out on my own for 9 holes or down to the practice ground after work. I really enjoy that, not just for the practice, but also to get some peace and quiet, and to get a break from the rest of life, which can be pretty hectic! I think golf is such a good game for mental health in so many ways.

I agree with you totally, it’s nice to be away from it all and relax. Sometimes it’s nice to go out and play on your own and just take your time. Often I play better too as no other distractions. Also I miss meeting new people and making new friends by entering the weekend competitions.

I usually miss the fairways.

I’m missing the friendly competition and all the laughs that come with it. Really looking forward to my first round back, whenever that may be! Can’t see clubhouses and bars being open for a while so I may even have to treat playing partners and I to a beer for the way round, particularly tempting given the weather lately.

I think it will be just book online and play with no other interactions allowed for a while. Maybe 2 balls at most and no 4 balls. But I know one thing as soon as we are allowed to play the rain with come haha.

One thing I don't miss is the trees. Always catch it perfect and just clips a branch lol.
