So annoying but for the best! Fuming I sold my puttout mat and aid just before this lock down

It's an ill wind....
Our course had closed holes 5 to 9 until such times as the holes recover from the recent deluge.
Perhaps this enforced closure will give the course time to recover and we can get back to a full 18 hole course again.

Limited to a strip of AstroTurf and a flag in back garden with whiffle balls as trying to protect greenhouse and summerhouse and me! However thoughts to nhs staff and volunteers who I know. As much as addicted to golf, more important things. Stay safe and good luck to all.

Our course had several holes closed due to the weather. a friend who lives next to the course had a walk and said the course has totally recovered and it is looking fantastic

What course are you a member of? I’m up at Maldon. They course was looking so good the weekend before lockdown

Have to get the dogs out for a walk alongside the course and see what’s happening.

I am a member of Bentley and Maylands at the moment,

That is exactly what my friend does, he walks the dogs across Bentley. He said the fairways and green look perfect. he is so tempted to have a little chip but I like he is just teasing me.

Do you know if anyone has a spare pair of alignment sticks for sale ;-)
