    After another fitting with the great Chris Courtneidge (he must be really patient), TS3 has finally gone in the bag. 45" +2g with Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 60 stiff. Had one range session and am looking forward to the stableford comp on Sunday to see how it performs under pressure.

    Also tried out the U500 and 510 and will likely be going for the 500 shortly.

    Was also lucky to try some ball fitting on the course with Chris. Have used the Pro V1 for years but now going to have to consider changing to the X, and the AVX is also seriously worth putting in play on those cold windy days.

    Great service from Chris and Titleist as always!!

    You're right, Titleist service is consistently brilliant.
    I've got a U500 on order... but my fitter lent me the 3iron demo - It really is a belter and it will be wrench to hand it back. I suspect I'm not the only one, but I always wonder if the new bat will be as "user-friendly" as the demo...
    On the ball front, I've only just discovered AVX and the novelty has not worn off yet. It might be that I stay with them but I know myself well enough to be certain that I'll be tempted by TruFeel, or the new EXP if it goes into production, soon enough.

    More accolated for Chris.. He was really helpful on my Hybrid fitting at Wokefield back in August. He wanted to get the right ball flight for me so instead on the same shaft as my fairways we went for a heavier one in TS2 and so far it's working well setting me up for birdie last week and a NTP prize the week before. He also gave some advice on my 917D set up and surfeit weight was reduces which is working well.

    Funny how the AVX is a bit marmite with some liking it (me included) and others not so. Wonder if it was rebranded as a Pro v1 (a for example) if it would be seen differently.

    Let us know how the TS goes on Sunday.
