    Grindelwald,

My girlfriend and I will be travelling to Ireland end October, unfortunately we have no time to play a round of golf as just there for a week... Never the less we maybe want to have a coffee or quick visit to one or the other course, to get some impressions to maybe come back another time Our route will be Dublin-Kilkenny-Waterford-Cork-Killarney-Galway-Dublin

We've been thinking about paying a quick visit to Lahinch GC and Adare Manor GC - any other clubs you guys can recommend to pass by quickly for a drink/visit?

    Thanks

Call into Adare if you can, haven't been back since the renovation but my parents have stayed there a few times since and say its amazing.

Killarney Golf (and Fishing) Club is just outside the town and well worth a visit, the lakes around the club house are beautiful, mountains in the background etc beautiful spot on a sunny day! Lots of great things to do and places to visit in Killarney too. We have a place there and go back a lot, drop me a message if you need any recommendations for food etc.

If you can get out to Ballybunion, do. My father is from there and its a beautiful spot. The restaurant / bar upstairs in the clubhouse does good food and has a great view over the 18th of the old course and looking out at the ocean! Park up and have a little walk down town too and visit the old castle ruins.

Up in Galway, Galway Bay is a bit of a drive out of town but again a very nice spot and amazing views across the bay looking back at the city on a nice clear day. Galway golf club in Salt Hill is a nice spot too. Can park up along the sea front for a walk. My wife's family is from Galway and we have spent a good bit of time up there so don't hesitate to message for any recommendations for food / drinks!
  3. When your in the dublin area, you should visit portmarnock or the island great courses
