  1. Hi,

Do Titleist UK offer a service of changing shaft adaptors from TM to Titleist? I would like to keep the shafts I had in TM driver and 3 wood and put them into my new TS driver and 3 wood.

Can I send the shafts to Titleist and have the adaptors changed or do I need to find a clubmaker who can do the job?

One for Luke on whether Titleist would offer this. I’m thinking probably not, butcstand to be corrected.
There are fitters who will supply and fit new adapters though, so you’ll be able to get the switch done one way or another.

Question is whether the shaft in your TM would be best suited to a Titleist TS for you? (assuming that's the driver you want to change to)...If the shaft is a Titleist option and you're in the market for a TS I'd get to a Titleist Thursday and make sure you discuss your preferences with the fitter.

When I was fitted for TS we went through the current shaft range, KuroKage, HZRDUS Smoke, etc. We then tried the shaft from my 917, and as I recall it didn't perform as well with the TS head.

If you're looking at a older model head I'm sure a local fitter could advise.

  4. I have tried my current shafts in the TS heads at a custom club fitter, well they weren't my shafts (as they have the TM adaptors on!) but they were the exact same shaft models so I know they work well for me in the TS heads

If i took the shafts to a Titleist dealer, can they send them off to Titleist to change the adaptors? They are shafts which are not offered custom order by Titleist though so not sure what Titleist process is, I suspect Titleist may not offer this service at all but just want to check, if not I will find a clubmaker locally who can do it.
