Great insight from one of my favorite Tour Pros. Passion for the game and life from IP. Great competitor with a top sense of humor off the course. His auto bio book was one of my favorite golf books.

  7. Almost the archetypal movie script story - from selling Mars bars in the pro shop to Ryder Cup glory...
Poults has worked incredibly hard to get where he is. He has built a career brick by brick and deserves to enjoy the fruits of his labours. It seems inevitable that he will get to be Ryder Cup Captain at some time in the future.
    Love it...

Fan of Poults, he worked in the pro shop at the first club I played at, Chestfield Downs, so he probably handed me a cards at some point. There's a short video of him hitting balls on his Twitter from that time. twitter.com/.../1086098282118606853

Think I'd prefer his garage to the pool room .
