I had an excellent fitting last night at Titleist's St Ives centre with Paul Thomson. The 917 is definitely a step or two up from the 910, 913 and 915 generations. It's a more forgiving club, and when armed with a better shaft, even this senior managed to squeeze out a few extra yards and tighten up an already small dispersion......and I like the shape of the head when I am looking down at address. It was certainly worth the £40 fitting fee, so I recommend that all you Titleist driver fans book yourselves a fitting. Thanks Paul.
