I am 58 so the club head speed has come down ,most of the drives have a little cut to them ,but the shaft a yellow proforce V2 flex S Weight 76g Torque 2.2 Butt stiffness 267 Mid stiffness 7.0 Tip stiffness 28 Tip parallel 4.0 Tip OD .335 In AN OLD 909 D2 9.5 Due to where I live (BULGARIA) it is not easy to replace a shaft or club ,therefore I have to rely on an internet purchase ,the luxury of custom fitting is not available here ,for that matter TITLEIST EQUIPMENT is non existent even golf balls are hard to get. sorry getting away from my question . looking to replace my driver and would like advice as to a suitable shaft ??????? When the driver goes off I revert to my TWO IRON with a NS PRO 100 STIFF SHAFT hit of the deck 220/230 yards with a gentle fade. and hit with confidence of result. Handicap ? now up to 14 but have played of a lot less. also many years ago qualified to teach but now retired and play for fun.

Disappointed not one reply not even from the team . I feel I am now having to put to much effort to get the distance . 8 iron 150/155 yds 5 iron 190/200 yds the ball prov1x travels a little further here due to 28 plus temps.

    Hi Thomas,

It is very hard to suggest a club without seeing you hit it.  We do have our new 915 line of metals launching on the 14th of November, so would definitely suggest you wait for them.  Regarding shaft, just going from what you have written, I would try the Aldila Rogue Black or Diamana Blue.  Again, this is very hard to suggest anything and would strongly advise to get to a fitting location if at all possible.  Our distirbutor for Bulgaria is Pro Sport Ltd and you can email trenchev.prosport@gmail.com who will help you find your closest location.

    Hope this helps,

    Chris

  4. Hi guys, have seen recent experiment using GCH2 launch monitor.  Shafts have small effects on performance despite popular thinking and is more to do with how the shaft feels to the individual, I have hit fairly consistent drives with shafts from regular to xstiff little or no difference in dispersion and distance barely any difference in spin, my clubhead speed is 104mph.  My advice is hit what FEELS good to you backed by performance.
