  1. TT Members,

    Happy New Year’s Eve!

We are planning a trip back to Maui for early 2025 and topic of which 2-3 courses we should play. Now, for context, I have been to Maui before and have played most of the tracks on the island…but I’m partial to Wailea and played Kapalua last trip.

Where would you all play 2-3 rounds on Maui?

    Thanks!

If you have already played “most of the tracks” either play the ones you have missed or go back to your favorites. Seems like you don’t need us for that.
  3. Happy New Year! Just came back from there a few weeks ago.

Depends on your budget, and where you're staying... We are partial to the north west side of the island, and stay in Kaanapali area.
Had some Troon points saved up, so did a round at each of the Bay, and Plantation courses, as well as a few at Kaanapali Royal.

Wailea Gold is a treat as well. More budget friendly options would be Maui Nui, and the Dunes, both fairly close to Wailea / Kihei / Kahului..

Pukalani is a budget friendly course. We go play it then have dinner at Kula Bistro. It makes for a great day in Up country.
Emerald is a must play. Kapalua is a bucket list course, played it once, don't have to go back.

I agree with Trevor about Pukalani. It was fun and got paired up with some locals. We had a great time on the course. Budget friendly and fun.

Makena is a nice track with great views.

Such a wonderful place to visit. Have been to Maui three times but never to play golf. Keep saying, someday. It is still on our bucketlist, but will most likely just rent clubs. Hate too, but would be so much easier. Probably stay at the Hilton at Kaanapali and play golf there. A great facility. With all the renovations going on at our house this year and my wife's knee replacement, travel will be minimal. We need to support the wonderful residents of Maui in their rebuilding efforts. One of the most beautiful places in the world.
