If you can play them both, even better. I personally liked Cholla the best but Saguaro gets the highest ratings. The hotel and casino are great too. Saguaro is longer but fairways are a bit wider so length over accuracy there. Since it will be your first desert golf, enjoy the views, be careful for snakes, and watch out for cactus and other plants as almost everything that grows there will stick you. Enjoy!

Take a club with you in the desert when you go looking for balls, lol. Also if you have an old 7i, throw it in the bag. Makes a great desert club for punch outs without destroying your current set.

I played Saguaro. There are a few risk-reward short par 4s, in which you have to make a choice off the tee, which I found interesting.

Fantastic practice area. The chipping/pitching area and putting green is close the first hole so make sure you leave time to practice there.
