I have traveled with both my Titleist ClubGlove Travel Bags (one collegiate size and one is the regular size) all over the world (Europe, Asia, Australia plus back n forth all over the USA) and NEVER had this happen....so I am surprised to hear this isn't working for you.

The stiff arm inside the bag ensures my clubs are protected plus the exterior holds up to the most demanding situation including rain. I remember our last trip to Japan for the Scotty Cameron Golf Event that we all had club gloves which we dragged on the trains, subways and around Tokyo on the sidewalks and they held up wonderfully.

LAX (when I re-enter the USA from Australia and Japan) seems to be the roughest on my clubs though, however I have never had them destroy the club glove. It is a very solid and great travel bag for what one gets!! Plus, I have enough room for everything inside.

Chris, I have to disagree on the rain comment. My trip to Cabot, in Canada, my clubs in a club glove bag came to me late and when opened they were soaked and some of the clubs even had surface rust. After that I went to the SKB hard case. Just saying.

Did you try contacting the airlines or mailing service? Or has it been to long to contact them?

I agree Chris, I love the bag, but it just seems like bad luck or possibly abuse by the carrier, which is why I do not want to slander them. Hopefully I will be able to find some sort of replacement strap or alternative as that is all that is wrong with it. I know folks on here are handier than I am...

I haven't had any experience with the Club Glove breaking but I have figured out that even if it's not completely full, it does help to make sure the Stiff Arm is fully extended to make sure the bag is the right length. I usually pack some stuff around the heads... (the leftover amazon bubble stuff is great for this).

At this point if it is broken (have no idea how they could have ripped that strap off) it is likely worth the investment to get another one.

I did not bother with contacting the shipper because it was just a strap, but there is a little bit of a tear on a seam that I can live with. I did some searching for a black vinyl strap with a buckle and found a medical equipment company sells them for stretchers. I will see how that works because if it is good enough for a medical emergency, it should be good enough for my travel bag.

Unfortunately airline baggage handlers have not found a bag or suitcase they cannot destroy. I think maybe they have a contest going that we just don’t know about. Try a luggage repair shop or shoe cobbler. They can likely sew a new strap on that might not match but can get you through until the next baggage handler seeks you out.
