Have only been looking to get serious about golf for about 2 years. I've bought some clubs off the net and some from local retailers and finally an Advanced Fitter. I was a little apprehensive about looking at Titleist, wondering if there was a Toyota alternative to the Lexus of clubs. They aren't cheap, but with some research, apparently anything custom ordered will be close in price. I've found newsletters from other vendors, but not the interactive space we have here. Nor have I seen a forum to ask questions directly to folks like the Concierge team. There has been much assistance on club/shaft/grip options that I have either learned through trial and error - or would still spend years more finding out.
We may not always agree (I will still miss the old NXT...) but the folks here have worked hard to help me see the value in my equipment purchases. Hope Titleist won't find it necessary to consider closing this in any future cost-cutting measures.
