Deciding Between 2 Putters

    Looking for a new putter... something very soft. Deciding between a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Mil Spec 340g OR a 2012 Newport 2.

    I have heard great things about both.

    Both I have found for around same price.

    Please let me know what you guys think!

    I just picked up a studio select squareback no 1 on 2ndswing and find it to be very soft. It also had a smoother putter face than what I was expecting.

    I have not used either of the 2 you mention, but I do have a 1995 Newport, and a 2020 Special Select Newport, and both are great putters, in my opinion you cant go wrong with the newport or newport 2

    Have always favored the Newport 2s......and have played them for about ten years......

    I use the newport 2, got it in 2010 and I've used it ever since! Great feeling putter

    I have both Newport 2 & 2.5. They have great soft feel off the head and balance. Do not think you can go wrong. Good Luck..
