Why no Newport 1.5 hosel anymore ?

    Just looking through the select Newport new 2016 range and wondered why the great short hosel shaped 1.5 Newport (Beach type) was no longer available as an option - or at least that short bend hosel 1.5 option

    I still currently still use a Newport Beach 1.5 studio stainless (sound slotline model with milled but with no face insert but with 'png' type slot behind the face) which I think I got around 2002

    I like the look of the new shaped milled face inserts but am not a fan of the long or no, hosel shapes

    Has the 1.5 small bend shape gone for good?

    Take a look at the 2.5. Granted, it's a little boxier and sharper than the previous 1.5 models but it does have the neck you're looking for.

    Okay thanks will take a look at it, on first look at just images the 2.5 hosel looked a good bit longer, but will search out one in the flesh and take a closer look.
