I've got my putter fitting scheduled for the gallery next week.
This will be my first time there. Anyone have any advice?
Thanks,
Alex

Alex, having done this a couple times I would strongly suggest you bring your favorite gamer, a pair of comfortable street shoes, an open attitude and get ready to have some fun!
Also, there is a great deli next door where you can get lunch or breakfast plus a starbucks so if you are early there are a couple fun spots to hang out!
Have Fun!!
Be ready...you never know who you will bump into!
Thanks for the advice Chris and the great pics! I'll try to post some here when I get back. I'm really looking forward to it!

Awesome! Just keep in mind that this is a relaxed atmosphere and you want to maximize fun so don't get too excited, albeit I realize that is hard to do...even for me!
LOL, can't wait to see your pics!
Chris MGrindelwald,
Had a putter fitting earlier this year.
Take your old putter with you (mine got checked before starting), comfortable shoes and just listen to the fitter.
Make sure that you don't let your eye chose the putter (of course it needs to look nice) Just be openminded
Oh I wish I'd taken some pics! I was just too excited and I missed it. Chris thanks for your advice. I had a great time and a wonderful experience. I learned a lot and am really looking forward to seeing the results of what I've learned on the course. I did get to talk with Scotty for a bit. Joey was brilliant and a complete professional. I'd recommend the fitting to anyone.

Congrats, Alex!
This is the absolute best thing you can do for your putting. It gives you a confidence you'll never achieve on your own. I went back after a year and got a tune up from Spencer in the Gallery who is an amazing fitter. Relax. Enjoy. Have fun!!

Nothing anyone else hasn't said. Try to no be biased toward what is the most expensive, or what is the most glamorous. The putter you chose doesn't mean anything unless it makes putts! Good luck and enjoy the experience!!!
