Just curious, what is the benefit of the long neck?

The long neck takes the newport style head from toe hang to face balanced.  This is better if you are a straight back and through verse arched path putter.

I picked up Circa 62 #3 last year and absolutely love the sight circle.  Putting has improved dramatically with it!!  Would love to send it to get refinished but they don't refinish in charcoal mist anymore so just cleaned it up myself and hoping to find a monterrey to substitute and hopefully preserve.
