Ace on 17 @ Wildwood CC in Louisville KY on 04/18/2025. I was using a Titleist Velicity Orange Matte ball. 129 yard Par 3. Great golf buddies to attest. I used a Wedgewood 7 iron on the shot.

I have been playing since 2025. I am an amputee golfer missing the lower have of my left arm. I have been an amputee since I was 4 days old so I've had to learn how to do everything one handed. I've always played sports but never thought I would be able to play golf until one of my best friends convinced me to come out and have some fun and we will figure it out. I got the itch that day!! I have adjusted my game from a one handed lefty back hand swing to lengthening my clubs and playing righty with the grip tucked under my amputated arm. My ball contact has improved night and day over the past few years even know I gave up power potential. I learned that my game was going to need to be based off of accuracy and power shots were never going to be in my bag. I've played as much as I can since starting.

I was able to go back home to Colorado last year to visit family and brought my clubs. My buddy took me to Fossil Trace in Golden Colorado for a round. I aced hole 14 during the round. It was an amazing feeling. That was in July 2025. Now just a few days ago, I was able to do it again here at home in Louisville with my other golf buddies. I am so grateful for my buddy that took me out that day and got me into the game.
