Playing at Midland Meadows Golf Club in Norton, New Brunswick. Playing hole 18, Par 3, laser stated pin was 115 yards on the back of the green on the short par 3.
I'm a lefty, the shot started out right and faded back into the hole then I saw it bounce and roll out and then it disappeared. But on that green near the back there is a little dip so I thought it was in that spot....then my buddy Ricky was like "I don't want to be dramatic but I saw it disappear" and I was like "nah it was short".
Then I got up to the green and there was no ball (the other guys were off the green) and even then it being in the hole wasn't even my thought. I was thinking, shoot I went long. Ricky said "I know you don't want to be that guy that checks but you have to be that guy" so I'm walking toward the pin, all the time looking at the rough off the back and it wasn't until I was about 6 ft from the pin where I was like "There is no other spot this ball can be" and the adrenaline started to build.
I draw a black line on every one of my balls, and I looked in the cup and there was the line looking right back at me.
