On Sunday, July 24th something that has the odds of 1 in 67 million, happened here at Rumbling Bald. To make one hole in one in a round of golf is something that only happens a few times a year throughout our 41,000 rounds. But on Sunday, the improbable took place at Apple Valley golf course. Paul Huber stepped up to the #3 tee and struck his png 9-iron from 118 yards. Bam! In the hole. His playing partners Kent Dyer, Rob Phillips and Gary Romaine witnessed something that was a golfer's dream come true. Making a hole in one was sure to be celebrated in the clubhouse after the round. After the excitement came down, a few holes later on #8, Paul stepped up to the tee, sure to make a joke about making another one, knocked in another hole in one! Two hole in ones in one round. On the 148-yard hole he drew out his 5 hybrid and did something that as a golfer you only read about happening. The Sunday gang was shocked to find out as the day went on what happened and celebration drinks were had at Paul's expense.
