  1. Hello, I’m having trouble with my driver, I’m hitting this low snap hook right (left handed golfer). Every now and then I squeeze one out that’s straight but can’t seem to get any real speed. To hit is straight I feel like have to cast the club. Anyone have suggestions on how to hit straight with decent speed. (Good iron player and have no issues with fairway woods.) Thanks!

If you're confident your fairway woods are consistently good, sounds like your angles coming into the ball are slightly off. Path is huge with the driver, worth 30-40 yards carry for me when I'm off. Hitting slightly down with the fairways, then slightly up with the driver is tricky. Find a STRONG teaching pro, not the local apprentice or hustler, they'll have you playing Army golf.

Please go see a pro at the course where you play or in your area. You need an extra set of eyes to take a look at your swing. Hard to correct something without actually seeing your swing. Being a professional he should be able to correct your "issues" within a matter of minutes. Good luck.

You really should see a pro and have them diagnose your swing issues. It’s virtually impossible for someone here to give you legitimate advice without seeing your swing. If you want a good, long lasting solution, see your local pro.

Usually a snap hook is from being too inside or stuck and flipping your hands at the ball. A teaching pro told me once that if you are struggling with a hook, spend some time on the range hitting the ball with a cut to try to balance out whats causing the hook.

It's also very important to go get lessons. i'd eco Chuck and said its hard to correct without seeing your swing and finding a good pro can be invaluable.
  6. It sounds like a quick fix, most likely a setup issue. As a teaching professional, I would never give advice without actually seeing you hit several balls on the rang or in a simulator. As chuck said, hookup with a local instructor/pro and I bet they can give you a solution within minutes.
