I have not. I would recommend finding a retailer online that you can order from.

Imagine that is their store policy, not the policy of Titleist, but Titleist may have a minimum hat order, which I could understand. Remind me not to get one thru them and to call around and see what other Titleist accounts charge to special order Titleist hats.

They are actually all the same price. I suspect that they are charging you the extra as they need to place a special order and they are charging you for the effort.

Seek out your local PGA Professional that is a Titleist retailer. He will be more than happy to order them for you.

That sounds about right, very small group of people will need that size, so they won't stock it. And since you have a very large curainumin you will get charged more for the special order, it's the American way. Many clothing companies charge more. For the 2-3 xl sizes.

Not had that price up charge before...from other retailers

The extra 1/4" of fabric does not warrant a 15.00 surcharge. I can understand on a pair of pants from lets say a size 34 to a size 40, that there would be an added charge, but the amount of extra fabric on a hat is minimal.
Your local store is gouging you! Shop around. There are other places that would appreciate the business.

@barry I completly agree. I emailed titleist as well and asked about ordering a hat from my local pga store and they informed me there wouldnt be any issue. They never mentioned an upcharge so it has to be store policy. Just ended up buying it online for a discounted price, free shipping and no taxes instead of shopping around at my local stores.

Understand it is PGASS's standard procedure to up charge on special orders. Best ask before you purchase. Support your local pro.
