I have come to the conclusion that I am my group of friends/family/ golf acquaintances "Titleist Guy". When they see the logo they think of me, and I kind of like it. A friend found these tees...not sure where or how, but saw them and felt compelled to acquire these poor little guys and send them my way to save them (Sarah McLachlan playing in the background). I guess I wanna know I'm not the only crazy out there with the brand, that's why I love this TT forum. What makes you your groups "Titleist Guy"...Any and all funny stories or pictures would be appreciated!

You definitely are not the only one! I am known around my club as "Titleist Doug" and when there are questions about any Titleist product, I'm the guy they come to. If I don't have the answer, or am not sure, I just come here to the TT forums and find the correct information. Even the guys in the pro shop have come to me at one time or another for Titleist updates and news. And, the club is supposedly a Titleist dealer. (However, they don't really carry much in the way of Titleist other than balls.)

I carry 100% Titleist clubs and balls in a Titleist 2017 mid-staff bag, with a Titleist Players towel and TT bag tag. I wear only FJ shoes. Have a complete color array of Titleist caps. There is no question where my loyalties lie. The hardest part for me is living up to the quality brand image of Titleist when I'm actually on the course. I feel like I have to shoot 68 everyday. Unfortunately, with an 8 handicap, that's probably never gonna happen. I do what I can and am proud to carry the Titleist flag.

It's good to be recognized for something positive at least. My brother just gave me an I'd rather be driving a Titleist bumper sticker over the weekend.

I hear ya.. A few weeks ago I played Old Corkscrew down in Florida. First one out with a gentleman from the Midwest. He was a CWY guy and of course i had my Titleist. Anyways, one of his balls went into the woods and I went over to help him look. He found a few Titleist ProV1s in the woods, turned to me and said "here you go, I know your Titleist guy".. Boy, I needed it.. I lost a few in the woods that day myself :).

But i hear what you're saying Josh... Good stuff...

I am definitley the Titleist guy in my group. Not a bad deal at all. Loving how Titleist is interacting with its brand ambassadors.

Nothing wrong with this :) I'm also done with my transition into "titleist guy". not quite there. I've always been a FJ guy and now with my titleist irons/driver I'm much closer to entirely titleist.

I'm def the Titleist guy in our group but more and more a switching over. Last year I got 2 of my buddies to drop their TM drivers and move to the 915 after hitting mine.

You're not crazy and you're in good company. At the course where I work, I'm generally considered the "go to guy" on all things Titleist (and I'm not a Pro). It's just a great brand to be associated with.

This picture pretty much sums it up for me, and of course all the Titleist swag in my office.

  9. Absolutely gorgeous! Tell me, did you get the Team Titleist logo embroidered on that bag yourself? Or was that a reward of some sort?

I ordered mine with TT logo and my name on it from our Pro Shop. Looks great IMO :)

Been a " Titleist Guy" from the first Tileist club I purchased, 909 D2!
Got me hook, line and sinker. I just purchased a 915 D2 for this upcoming season.
    Someday when the snow melts..........
  13. At my local shop, Titleist stuff isn't a big seller (I know, crazy huh!), so I am known as the obsessive Titleist guy. Jokingly, I get kidded about my dedication to all things Titleist. But I don't mind it. I am glad to keep Titleist clubs ordered and the products flying off the shelf.

    Enjoy!

Yup, me too. A buddy in another group looking at my everything Titleist equipment and bag, sarcastically asked, "what are you sponsored by them?", and I answered, I guess so, since they help me keep taking your money!

Like they said, you are in good company. I'm Titleist all the way down to the ground. All except for that TM 5 wood in the bag, any time I need one in the fairway I can count on that one, so he gets to stay I guess. LOL

Like most of you, I am the Titleist guy among my friends. Everyone knows I breath Titleist and FootJoy. 12 hats, 3 pairs of FT shoes and clothing. The only thing I lack is a TT bag tag. Maybe one day, I will get to enjoy placing one of those on my personalized Titleist bag.
  17. I'm glad to join the club! I was a swoosh guy all the way but switched to TT and my game has never been better. The only thing keeping me from being 100% is I haven't found the right Cameron yet...the great folks at TT have made feel right at home and even gave me a welcome present with the coveted bag tag!

Ditto to everything said, in my group I'm the one who plays everything Titleist. Started back in high school with DT balls. Now full set of clubs, bag, umbrella, Foot Joy shoes etc etc. When I get asked why I play Titleist in my group I quietly say, so you'll never beat me. Lol

Since 1995 when I purchased my Titleist DCI Black irons, my bag has been almost exclusively Titleist. Like many in this thread, I have a very similar experience around my club now with being associated with Titleist. The bag with TT logo, the TT bag tag, the full bag of Titleist clubs, Vokey wedges, ProV1's, hats, FJ shoes....I suppose there is good reason for it! The guys in the shop are fully aware of where my loyalty (obsession?) lies. Many times the club will offer a dozen balls as prize for a closest to the pin or other contest. However, not always will they be offering up "my brand" for the prize. But every time I have been lucky enough to be the winner they have a dozen ProV1x ready for me. It's good to be known as the "Titleist guy"!
