I play 714 AP1's and went with the W1 and W2 set up. I added at Vokey 56 degree wedge to round out the set. But I always wondered if I was losing something by not carrying a 60 degree. Each round I always seemed to have 1 or 2 situations where I would have liked to have a 60, but had to use the 56. This year I changed out the 56 for a SM6 58 - so split the difference with a wedge that hopefully gives me the best of both worlds. 2 rounds so far with the 58 and no complaints - great out of bunkers and other trouble shots, full shots and a bit more flexibility if I need to lob one. Overall I think its a good choice with a set up like the AP1s and the strong PW and GW lofts that come with the set. Would be interested to hear what wedge set up others are using with 714 or 716 AP1's.
