  2. I have long been on the fence about picking up one of these mini drivers. Some days I struggle with driver where my 3w is one of my most consistent clubs in the bag. Would love to demo this and see if it has a place in my bag.
  3. Love the review, Thanks for sharing.

Just ordered mine...cant wait to try it out! My Titleist rep has a sample club and it looks amazing in person!!
  4. May I ask some honest questions here? With the launch of the mini driver and the hefty price tag, how do people afford purchasing this club. The pros, who could afford it, get them for free. I am just curious on how people afford it or justify it. I am a teacher. My family does not live beyond our means. We prioritize living debt free and staying debt free. With only a mortgage left, I just have a hard time justifying the cost of these new clubs. I know any of the mini drivers would be a drastic upgrade since my 3 wood is from 2002. Since a foot surgery, I can't put enough weight on my foot to hit my driver straight any longer. I can only hit my 3 wood off the tee if I want to enjoy my round. Hence my interest in the mini drivers. I can save up the money for the club. But I just can't justify the cost where kids sports, braces, college, x, y, and z are out there to pay for. Any suggestions? Once our house is paid off, I do plan to save to get fitted for a full set of Titleist clubs. But until then, I am just curious on how people afford to purchase these clubs, especially those of you planning on getting the mini driver. Is there a way to purchase the demo versions from fitters? Thanks everyone and have a great day. Keep hitting them straight down the fairways and firing at greens!

Just ordered mine yesterday, cannot wait to try it out!!! Hoping for a little extra accuracy on tight fairways. Thank you, Titleist, for finally releasing the mini!
  7. How does it compare to the TSR2+ ?
  8. I just got fit last Thursday for GT280, I currently carry the TSR2+, here are my observations:

Current TSR2+ carry is 260-270 with a mid height and spin around 3500
Shaft is Black 1K X Stiff

    I was fit into GT280
Carry was 270-280 with Spin around 3100
Height peaked out around 130 ft, much higher than TSR2+
Dispersion was much tighter with GT280 also
Shaft was 1k X-Stiff but 1 inch short

I found Gt280 easier to hit off the turf and overall a hotter faced club. I cant wait to get mine in the mail later this month. Highly recommend getting fit, i would have never gone 1 inch short but wow did it feel good!
  9. Has anyone compared the GT280 alongside the TM mini? I've been having some good results with the TM mini, but my preference always tends to sway back to Titleist.
  10. Is it a driver or an old fashioned 2 wood?

Count me as someone that is super excited to get this in my bag. I placed an order after a "mini-demo" at my local Roger Dunn. My reasons, I've always gravitated to smaller heads in the wood category. I tend to hit my TSR 2+ off the tee more than my driver. I've been fit numberous times for a driver, although I can hit it far, I just tend to spray it at the worst time.

My numbers during the demo were really solid. Carry was baout 245-255, rollout was about 7-15 yards depending on spin. The look was absolutely for my liking.

It's on order, just hoping it gets here soon!
