I received my GT2 Driver this week but have not been able game it yet, SUPER excited!

I am wondering- though if anyone has any feedback on the GT2/3 fairway woods? I only did the driver fitting (for sake of time and energy) and took 5-6 swings on a 4-wood set up as a demo of sorts, it felt GREAT so I'm actually going back for a fairway fitting while the Titleist fitter is my area to satisfy my curiosity but I'm just curious what others' opinions have been on the fairway woods, especially if vs. the TSR line. For some context I currently have a TSR2 4-wood and 7-wood in the bag.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Fairway woods are excellent, easier to get up into the air than the TSR models plus they go straighter with less dispersion IMHO

That’s good to hear. I’m waiting for my GT2, upgrading from 917D2. Demo’d it last week & feels great!

Fairway woods are some of the best I've owned. I upgraded both my TSR3 Driver and Fairway wood recently. I have about 20 rounds in thus far and I am more than pleased. The driver is slightly longer and straighter for me, although I did change shafts based on fitting suggestions and lowered my overall spin rate. The fairway wood is night and day different. I picked up yards, accuracy and overall confidence as a result. I can't recommend the fairway upgrade enough. It's got me re thinking my long distance club selections and may require some tweaking to the irons or hybrid once the GT version of it is released. If you're on the fence, I say order one today!
  7. Added a GT3 fairway when I did my driver (GT4) fitting, and happily ordered them up. It was then I realized, in my exuberance, that I already had a very capable 3w in the bag, but my next stick was a 7w. Tried changing my order to the HL (16.5*) head, but was told the original order was already in production, and couldn't be changed.

So I did what any other normal golf-aholic would do, and ordered a GT2 in the 16.5 head to round out the stable hahaha.
Very forgiving, easy to launch, produce a beauty ball flight. Super pumped to have in the arsenal.

I can say that the GT2 fairway woods are among the best I have ever used. They are very forgiving and produce consistent results. Great job Titleist!

    Whole heartedly agree.

In the attached image, have a 913F 17 fairway next to a GT2 18. The 913F is a lot easier to get the ball off the deck vs TSR1 18. Also find my 910F 21 fairway hits better vs TSR1 20.

The golf shop allowed me to swap shafts between the GT2 and TSR1 18 fairways. I have had only a chance to dial the GT2 in with Trackman. The GT2 has great feel. I’m going to play this weekend.

  10. I’m playing GT3 fairways and have had some of my better fairway wood play in the last few years with them already. Launch very easily and the ball jumps off of the face.

I've got a GT2 seven wood and won't be swopping anytime soon, further and straighter than the TSr1, dropped the hybrids, happiness!

Also have 7 wood - shortened by 1 inch. Hit one last week off of the toe from downhill lie and still got 200 yards - amazing clubs
  14. Completed my driver fitting today, went with the GT 3. Ran out of time, so will have to do a fairway wood fitting in the future. Excited to see which club will work the best.

The GT woods are indeed worth the hype. I gained so much yardage when I put the GT3 driver into my bag (21 carry, 25 total) that the 4 wood I hit in the fitting was basically the same as my previous driver so I had to make that switch then. I liked that club so much I went ahead and put the 7 wood into my bag and it has become my favorite club instantly. Obsessed! Incredibly easy to hit off the deck or teed up. Very pleased with the purchase of all these. Coming from Tsi to GT already has me shooting lower scores.
  16. Yes I just bought the GT2 13.5 degree fairway wood yesterday. Loved it. Easy to hit off the turf. Much easier to hit than the TSR2 Fairway wood. Could have been a me issue why I struggled to hit the TSR2 Fairway wood last year, but wow was really impressed with the GT2 fairway wood. I went with the Denali Red 60g 6.0 shaft. Averaged 247 off the turf.

The GT2 5 wood with Diamana 70 R and the TSR1 9 wood have been a one-two punch on the golf course.
