  1. I became a Titleist player when the original AP1 and AP2 were introduced. over those years, i bounced between the 1's and 2's....always thinking I wanted the AP2's but then going back to the 1's for forgiveness and distance. I've owned every version of each, except for the AP1 718's and the AP2 716 and 718.

For me, the AP1 716 and the AP2 710 will always be my favorites.

I currently play the '21 T300 and while I like them, I am always watching ebay for a mint set of AP1 716's.

I'm curious to hear everyone else's favorite.

BTW, my only Hole In One came with my AP1 710 7 iron!

My favorite model is the one I am currently playing, the T300. Plan on getting a newer set this fall. Bought the first edition when they came out and love them. Played DCIs, the original AP2s, then the newer model AP2s (2014,2016,2018) and found these more to my liking and suited to my age and bipolar game. All of my hole in ones have been with Titleist clubs and at the same course. My first was with the DCI irons (2001), two more with the AP models (2012, 2015) and one with the T300s (2021). Hopefully the new T300s can bring me my fifth. The are my favorite of all the clubs I have ever played and I have tried all the major manufacturers in my earlier days of playing golf (Wilson, png, miz, cally, TM, Nickent, and Adams) which started for me in 1985.

For me, my favorite was 714 AP2's. The feel and the sound was distinct (relative to 710 AP1, 712 AP2, 718 AP2, and T100s).

My first set of irons were the DCI 990's and I can honestly say they were the most forgiving irons I've ever owned. The last model AP3's and original model MB Forged are also high on my list. Currently loving my T100-S irons though!

I still have the first set of good irons I ever purchased. 1971 Titleist forged irons. 2-9, PW. Played them for 20 years before I tried something else. They are in beautiful shape, only needing grips. I am still playing my CB712's and I suspect I will finish out my time with these irons. They are great and like my old ones they still look great.

Favorites will always be the 681 and 690 MBs, but I really love my current 620s as well.

Favorite woods will always be the 975 series.

Every new iron set quickly becomes my favorite. If I had to choose, it would be the DCI's in the early 90's as these were my first exposure to Titleist and I have never looked back.

I just added the 58-04T to my bag. I got the 64W just before it sold out. For me, the 910s are pretty easy to swing. I’ve been playing the MB irons for 3 years. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

T200 (2019). More forgiving and longer than the AP2 iron.
