I like to walk the course. Usually I use a push cart with a full set. But, on practice days or when I'm playing a twilight round, I like to carry my bag with a half set. For you walkers here, what kind of bag do you use when walking and do you carry a half set?

    Thoughts about walking?

My bag is a hybrid 14 and is very friendly for carrying. I don't trim down the number of clubs for carry. The dual strap system does a great job of distributing the weight across my back and it is comfortable, even though I have some spinal stenosis and other neck/back issues. Also, I'm right at 70 years old and I don't find 14 clubs an issue unless it's a hot day. Then I usually ride.

I walk often and use the Players 4 Carbon bag and carry 12 clubs. Works well for me.

I use a carbon 4 for a local 9 hole or another 13 hole short course with no more than 12 clubs. Could be less.
There is a par3 course I use 6 clubs in a Sunday shoulder bag.

I always walk, never use a half set, and use a Titleist bag, although I'm unsure of the model.

I carry 14 clubs with a double strap which helps on the back. I'm like Paul, if it's really hot, I ride. Walking gets me exercise and I like the pace as well. I'm 71 and will walk as long as possible.
