So got a 7 wood for my birthday. “Early birthday gift” I wanted a TSI hybrid but couldn’t find one. Never been able to get along with hybrids. But I broke down and got a sim max2 hybrid. I couldn’t even stand it being in the bag. I went to local driving range and he had a used hybrid same everything. I took it out and could t hit a good shot to save my butt. This is why I hate simulators. I also seen a miz 7 wood and decided to try it. After just 5 balls I decided to head back to Golf Galaxy. I took the hybrid back and traded it in for a TSI2 7 wood. TSI clubs are getting hard to find and this one had a senior flex shaft. I gambled on it and bought it anyways. Luckily my guy had a TSI 5 wood and he let me trade shafts. 65s blue Tensei shaft. First shot was into a par5 215 yards. I left it 4 foot from hole for an eagle putt. Wasn’t so excited my wife paying 300 for a club “seen them new for 249-279 at other places,”that old but after my round today I was glad she did. Anyone who struggles with 3 hybrids I would highly recommend giving the 7 wood a try. You may be glad you did.

You may actually be lucky you found a TSi fairway. The factory didn’t have a full inventory to fulfill orders prior to the TSR release. No major discounts if any expected.

The reason they make hybrids and fairways in the same lofts are because we are all different. Glad you like your setup.

I'm looking for a TSi 7 wood to mess around with.
It would be nice to hit it high with stop on a dime control.

I am torn between adding a 5w or 7w and ditching my hybrid. It’s been over 20 years since I played with a 7w, it might just be time. Would love to find a tsi with xs shaft

Off the rack or used will be hard to find in an XS. You can easily add any Titleist shaft available in XS to order a new TSR (…get fit).

I found one with a senior shaft. Took to my local shop and swapped out a 5 wood blue tensei stiff shaft. 1/4 inch longer I think but no worries.

I have enjoyed my 7 wood much more than any hybrid I’ve owned.

I’ve been debating a 7 wood instead of the T200 4 iron. I may wait for the TSR hybrids to come out so I can see how that works for me. I’ve had minimal success with hybrids in the past, but Titleist has been one of the few brands that I can hit half decently.

Swapped my TSi 15 degree for a 16.5, my TSi 18 degree for a TSi 21 degree fairway kept my 24 degree hybrid and upped the loft. The 21 rocks! higher flight softer landing, limited roll out. Just a bit easier to launch off the deck. So my 5 iron is just for punching out from under trees or muscling out of gnarly lies...

I also had trouble using the hybrid. Looked for a TSi but bought the TSR 7 Wood and is now my favorite club in my bag.
