Cracked 2 TSi 2 3-wood heads in 4 months?

    I recently upgraded my entire bag with new Titleist offerings including a 15-degree TSi 2 FW wood.

    Issue is the head cracked on the very 1st range outing. Chalking it up to a total fluke, swapped out with an exact same (new) TSi 2. Fast forward less than 4 months and the replacement cracks in the same place. So much for being a fluke... Thankful the store (2nd Swing Golf) swapped again but this time for a TSi 3 hoping for better longevity.

    What is going on? Not casting dispersions on Titleist, been playing them for 30 years and a huge fan but of every manufacturer out there they are the LAST one I would have expected this from.

    Is there some QC issue that's being reviewed or maybe a bad batch?

    Didn't state if both happened on range however I never hit my metal woods on range mats. Only grass. Good Luck

    That is very strange. The same thing happened to my brother's TSi2 Fairway wood. Was just hitting it on the grass range and it cracked near the bottom of the toe.

    More likely an issue with range balls. The pursuit of longer distance has thinner heads being produced. That means less margin for error. Interesting that most players have been hitting thousands of balls by now with TSi series since they have been out nearly 2 years and there have been a few people posting that they have gone through multiple head cracks. I have not heard of many pros having this issue either so it can't be clubhead speed. It has to be contact point high on the face with hard range balls. Probably not what you wanted to hear but the face in the TSi2 and TSi3 are pretty much identical but the slightly deeper head shape might keep you more towards the center of the face. Hope the change to TSi3 works out for you.
