The latest T series irons are actually 2021 models which I know is confusing since they were not introduced until late last year. If they update a super game improvement model, it probably would not be until late 2023 at the next iron cycle. The T400 was not a large revenue generated since it focused on a smaller, competitive market so it might go away altogether. I have no real intel, just my personal opinion. T300 is a very good and forgiving club. With the right shaft and a proper fitting, it might even be a club you enjoy as well or better than your T400. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I went from Titleist AP2 (714) to the new 2022 T300 last fall, what a great iron, easy to hit & very forgiving. I was fit by Titleist and hit all the new clubs T100, T100S, T200, T300 & T400. Try them with different shafts, the Titleist reps are very good, well trained & will suggest the best fit for you.

I walked into TPI thinking no one can take my T400’s from me. I walked out drooling for my 2021 T300’s to get to me.

First of all, don’t pay attention to the number on the bottom. At equal lofts, the T300 is easily the equal for distance and launch. I found the feel and forgiveness to be exceptional.

My personal issue was the width of the base. With a ball buried in a deep rough even the P I have getting that much head under the ball. The T300’s transition well to Vokey wedges. I’ve dropped my 23 hybrid for the 6 iron and added a W in lieu of a 48 Vokey since I use it more for 3/4 or full shots.

I still use the T400 stock shafts (best fitted) in the T300. Your experience may vary. The TPI session was an intro to the 2021 irons. I couldn’t get any feedback if a new T400 was planned.
