I currently have an old set of DCI black diamond irons that I have played with since the early 90s. I simply have NOT found a iron set that I liked as good as the set I have now. I used to be a low handicapper but in recent years I have NOT played much but want to get back out on the course. Flexibility and distance are lacking to say the least. I am 71 now and hit my PW about 110 yds. I am tall and when I purchased that old set they were 1" longer. I have read that the AP2 714s are a very good iron for increased distance and lower ball flight. I have always had a very high ball flight. Would I gain much more distance switching? Even 10 yds would be good. Thanks John
