Try the 18 and 21 in the TSI2. I have a TS2 15 degree and a U510 4 utility and a 19 degree TS2 hybrid. I get about 195 to 200 out of the U510, 210 to 215 from the hybrid, and 225 to 235 from the 3 wood. If I were to upgrade I think I would go with the 18 degree TSI2.

Best advice would be to do a fitting and compare the hybrid and fairway wood options. I moved out of the lower lofted hybrid and into the 18 degree fairway wood for a better launch and landing trajectory. I'm sure you will find the option that works best for you. Have fun out there.

Totally agree. A fitting by a qualified/experienced fitter can only advance your chances of getting the right club. Correct head plus matching shaft. Remembering that it is the shaft that drives the head. Titleist makes some very nice options.

FWIW, I now play a TSi2 16.5 3/4W, a TSi3 20* hybrid and a U500 4i 2* strong at 21*. Though I think of the hybrid and utility iron as similar distance clubs, I do usually get an extra five yards or so from the hybrid. However, having both in the bag gives me options, depending on the lie or the type of shot required. Off a tee, or a perfect lie, I am usually a bit more accurate with the U500. From rough, I'll pull out the hybrid nearly every time. One gives me a higher trajectory and softer landing, the other a more boring trajectory and run-out. You just have to find the set-up that works for your game. Sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to do so.

Fittings are a good source to find the base numbers, but on-course research and testing works best for me. I have tried/purchased all sorts of Titleist hybrids, fairway woods and a couple different utility irons to find the best set-up for my game. No-disrespect to fitters and fittings. In fact, I usually do go through fittings to narrow down which Titleist club models and shafts work work well for me, numbers-wise. Yet, actually playing each club in real-life golf situations tells me much more about what works best for me than any launch monitor alone can. But, I'm old school.

Try a couple different lofts to fill the gap, say 19 and 21 degree. If you're looking for more height, the 21 might be more suitable, and it would be easier to hit out of the rough and bad lies. Obviously the 19 would give you more distance and a lower ball flight.I have a 16.5 fairway, followed by my 21 hybrid (set at 20), and then my 4 iron.
I get a little more length with the hybrid, and it flies higher than my 4 iron.

I personally find that if I hit a hybrid and iron of the same loft, I'll hit the hybrid farther, so if your goal for the hybrid is to be the next club up from the utility iron, going closer in loft to the iron may be the way to go. As others have said though, trying it out in a fitting is the only way to know for sure.

I actually use the 712U 3 iron which is 21deg, and have a TSi2 hybrid 21 deg, even though they are the same loft I get about 15 more yards from the hybrid, so like others have said, get fit. I would have never thought to have 2 clubs at the same loft, but they do different things and my gapping is correct now.

I would go and try out different lofts if you can and find what fits in the gap for distance. Also a typical 5 wood would be around the 18° mark so that could be something to look into, but with that even though they could be the same loft you may get more distance with a 5 wood due to the longer shaft but find it less forgiving. Just go and have a hit of a few different options
