    The new Tour Soft combined the features of the older Tour Speed and Tour Soft into one ball so that ball should be the closest thing to the old Tour Speed ball.

    My understanding is that the Tour Soft took the place of two balls, the Tour Speed and one other Tour named ball, combining the best features of the two into one ball.

    After I make my way through the remainder of my Tour Speed stock, I will go back to the AVX. I personally found them to be similar and the price point of the Tour Speed was a bit more attractive.

    I'm still searching for a replacement while I use up the ones I have left. I haven't been real happy with anything so far and Pro V's are too expensive for the amount of balls I lose lol

    My guess would be the Tour Soft...the performance is probably close and the price point is close to what the Tour Speed price was.
