I don't know of a ProV1C? Maybe a typo? Anyway, to answer your question this way.... The Titleist ProV1 and ProV1x are the most played ball on all tours, by far over all other golf balls. Magnify that by the general amateur players and they are by far the most played brand for a reason. The entire Titleist ball line are the best balls made so any of them that fits your game and budget are the best for you. Do the virtual fitting if unsure of the model you need. Hope this helps.

Keep n mind that Titleist is the number on ball on tour. This is a conclusion that I read online in "Fairway Approach".

"We hope you now feel you are equipped to choose the Pro V1x or the TP5x the next time you head out to the course. Each of these golf balls has proven its position on the market and has players on the PGA Tour that are very satisfied with its performance.

At the end of the day, I had to choose the Pro V1x. The quality of this golf ball around the green is just so hard to match, and although the TP5x gave me a few extra yards in my long game, the Pro V1x has the performance where I need it to score. "

Like the differences between the V, X, and AVX, competitors balls will be different from the Titleist. Better? Beauty is only in the eye of the beholder.

There is no question no one exceeds Titleist quality control. Titleist is 100% designed and manufactured by Titleist. All balls for the US are made in New Bedford, MA area. Even if supply issues force balls from Thailand, still from a Titleist owned and managed plant.

You can check other sellers if all their balls are made in the US. Notably the DTC brands contract for all their inventory and don’t always use the same manufacturer.

At least with Titleist I can trust my offline shots or my wayward putts are my fault alone. …Sadly true…
  5. The "c" was definitely a typo. The title he gave this thread is Prov1x.

LBanks, the short answer is yes. The Pro V1x is far superior to that other ball.
