Anyone else running to the mailbox everyday, waiting and hoping that you were selected for testing? Totally stalking the mail person daily, lol

  2. We were lucky for those that participated in the Team Titleist Invitational to get some sleeves of the new balls to test out...feel very fortunate...thats one reason why I participate in as many of the TT events across the country!

I envy you Chris. Those of us that had to evac a day early didn't get them.
It was nice meeting you and spending some time with you while it lasted!

Hey George, I missed out also. Decided on Monday that it was best for me to head back to Charleston on Tuesday morning and glad that I did. Took me ten hours to get home. Spent Wednesday and Thursday morning preparing for what we thought would be a Hurricane hitting Charleston. Fortunately it was only a Tropical Storm with mucho rain and high winds. No personal property damage, but lots of leaves and branches. Enough to keep me busy for two days. The Hurricane hit about an hour north of us and feel for our neighbors up there. Guess my safety was worth not getting those white boxes. At least that is what my wife told me, with a very strong voice. You are home safe, you know. Maybe we can hope for a sleeve with the rest. Hakuna matata.

I would imagine if you do not play Prov1 or Pro1x you would not be considered for testing them. Just my opinion.
Here is how you sign up to test golf balls and it does ask which model golf ball you play.

Glad you made it home safely. The Tuesday drive up I75 was bumper to bumper, which wouldn't have been too bad except for all the accidents caused by impatient drivers. See ya at the next event!

I might add this to my previous post regarding joining ball testing. It states that Titleist cannot guarantee that everyone will be selected. So be strong and not disappointed if you do not get selected. If you play a velocity, do not expect to get selected to test Prov1s. Just being real and just sayin'. Best of luck in being selected and welcome to Team Titleist. As you see I am a long time member, one of their Ambassadors and do not get selected every cycle. No worries. When the new balls come out, I buy a sleeve and give them a go.

If you would like to be considered as part of our golf ball test panels, please take a moment to complete the information below.

Each of our test panels vary in size and scope so "we can't guarantee" that everyone will be selected to participate.

However, we will "do our best" to include as many Team Titleist members as possible in these exciting opportunities. Thank you for your participation!

Thanks Chuck, but you might have misinterpreted. I'm not new; I was at Streamsong with you. :)
  8. Hey Chris, I'm new here! Could you explain me briefly how to participate on Titleist testing events?

I'm not speaking for @Chris92009 and I'm sure he'll chime in. If you are interested in participating in national and regional Team Titleist events, periodically check the "Events" tab on the Team Titleist page. There is one event listed that is TBD for 2022. I'm sure when the 2023 events are ironed out, they will be listed on the "Events" tab.

I recommend periodically checking the "Events" tab for updates. In addition, information regarding upcoming events will be listed in this forum as well as the private FB group page. If you have updated your Titleist profile and it's complete, you may also receive email notices regarding events. There are also virtual events (e.g. Titleist Talks) that you can attend.

Attending the 2024 TT Invitational may be the next opportunity to get the “white” boxes. They were given out at Streamsong on Tuesday. Last year we got a box of left dot Pro-V1 balls. I think we got the white boxes at either 2020 or 2018. Otherwise I have only been sent the testing balls twice in 12 years They came late in October, so there may still be some sleeves of prototypes coming yet. Anyone getting them be sure to try them and respond.
  11. I keep filling out all of the entries to be considered for the white box but unfortunately haven't been chosen yet. Maybe someday.

I’ve been lucky and was selected a bunch of times over the last decade. For each sleeve I have received, I usually test two of the balls and keep the third as a keepsake. I have a bunch of protos in my ball collection. It’s always fun every two years waiting in anticipation. I wish you luck Perry, it will happen for you one day. Keep at it.

That definitely will help but please understand, even with acknowledging you want to participate puts you in a category with thousands of other TT members doing the same thing. There will be limited amounts of test sleeves so it still will be hit or miss. Attending events like the TTI we had last week at Streamsong is always the best chance to get in on testing, not to mention the real benefit to interact with your fellow TT members. Wishing you luck in the "testing lotto". If not this year, maybe next time.

Keeping a close eye on the mailbox or by the front door. I am hoping my son or I are lucky enough to be early testers. One of the fun things about being a TT member is the opportunity to be chosen.
