Was lucky enough to go to woburn yesterday for a golf ball fitting experience. Wow what a day, the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and busted a few myths. Starting at green side and working back you could really see the benefits of the extra control and spin. Got fitted into the pro v1x despite thinking a soft ball would suit me. We were then lucky enough to play the dukes course and see the benefits the ball gave when hitting into greens, the control was brilliant. Cannot recommend a ball fitting enough, probably the most important piece of equipment you have.
